Happy Birthday to the NHS being 70 years old today. I have been blessed over the years with my family and myself being under the care of the NHS, through minor injuries to care before death. My mum and her brother and sisters were in nursing on the Isle of Lewis, it was a great training and career for them. It is amazing just over 70 years how medicine has evolved and just imagine the next 30 years when it will be 100.
